Aubrey decided to encourage Oliver to embarace his Mayan heritage (which we don't talk about). He wasn't really into it. Poor baby. This is what Aubrey does to him when left alone! Got to watch that girl. She is actually really awesome. All the kids are. But Oliver especially loves Aubrey. She spends a lot of time making him happy. Just not here.
This is Roberto Soto. He and Alek have been friends since we moved here 6 years ago. Robert is an amazing kid. He has wanted to join the Church for the last four years, but needed permission from his parents which he didn't get. His dad wanted him to wait until he was 18 to make a dessiscion like that. He will be getting baptised in two weeks! He has been coming to church and seminary off and on for all this time. We are all excited!!
Awwwww! Isn't Alek cute!
Here is a better picture of Morgan and Eli. He doesn't like the picture because he thinks he looks kind of goofy. And in truth he does, but it is still the best one I have. She is a sweet girl. She is also moving to Arizona! (She will come back at least once a month to see family.) Eli is realistic. He knows he has a mission and stuff-- We don't want him in too deep at 16! He has good taste though.

Oliver is about a week and half away from his six month birthday in these next few pictures. Eli and his "special friend" are playing with him. I have a better picture of Morgan Gibbs, Eli's Chica, but what I don't have is time to access it. My updating time has expired and the little tyrant is, even now, reminding me my time is up! I will get to this in the next couple of days... I have more pics.
Mmmm! I just love these Chubba Wubba legs! They are edible!
He is sitting up like a big boy!
Pj decided to share is Healthy Choice Fudge bar with the baby. You know, just to see what he would do. Then "Sharing" ceased to be an option!
New do. He is not sure about it.
OK, there is a good reason for these...but just looking at them out of context...they are very random and weird! And that cracked me up. Here is the back story: Eli MADE his little chica jewelery for Christmas! His "special friend" dropped hints that she liked jewelery so he felt obligated. But as he is a poor jobless slob, he was limited. So he (with mine and Aubrey's guidance) decided to craft something for her. More personal that way anyhow. So we went to the craft store and he picked some stuff out. (It actually turned out very cool). He ended up with a locket charm. (With coordinating earrings) And he wanted to put some silly pictures in the locket to minimize the impact of receiving hand made jewelery...which, you kind of have to admit is an exteme gift! I mean PJ never did anything like that for ME!! And believe me, she was impressed. So these pictures are Eli trying to do some wierd winking thing, and me trying to show him how to hold the camera.
Eli and Oliver on Christmas morning. Oliver is wearing his favortie Christmas gift.
Up,Down... He is trying to crawl. But when he gets excited, he just lays there grounded by his big old belly and kicks furiously with those fat legs. He looks like a drunken Superman. We enjoy watching his learning curve. Up, Up, and Away!
Ok, I am just going to put a bunch of pictures on because I am a bit behind. These start just before and up through christmas.
